About The Role

As Software Engineer – you will be responsible for developing highly scalable, functional and resilient financial platform. The position requires a solid understanding of core engineering concepts.

You will be capable of taking well-scoped components from a larger project and completing these tasks in a reasonable time frame. You are assumed to be constantly making steady progress on tasks that are assigned to you. You own your independent features all the way through from technical design to launch.

You are focused on learning about a specific component or product sub-area and mastering that component, and you should be improving the speed at which they learn from their mistakes.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements new product features and enhance existing ones.
• Implements code that is clear, concise, tested, and easily understood by others.
• Responsible for the entire lifecycle of their code: development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements.
• Performs code reviews that follow the standards and practices of the engineer handbook and that are recognized by their team as helpful.
• Write highly scalable, high-performance, and maintainable code
• Creates technical design specifications.
• Documents and completes knowledge transfer to production support.
• Work on complex, major or highly visible tasks in support of multiple projects that require multiple areas of expertise.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience with any of .NET Core, Java or language required by the specialty.
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications/systems using proven or emerging technologies, in a variety of technologies and environments.
• Experience with agile processes, continuous delivery, and continuous integration
• Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, and clear status updates.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Energetic, self-motivated, can-do approach, willing to learn and who likes challenges.
• Encourages and accepts personal feedback.
