What You’ll Do:
- Development and maintenance of Web Applications used by our clients and staff;
- Writing clean, testable code;
- Constantly challenging and expanding your knowledge of reliable software architecture, programming and new technologies;
- Exchanging your knowledge with other developers and being part of a team of proven professionals;
- Working closely with other members of SiteGround like Product Owners, FrontEnd Developers, DevOps Engineers.
Our expectations:
- PHP ^7.3;
- Experience in the development of web applications;
- Good experience in the OOP paradigm;
- Experience with Symfony or other PHP frameworks;
- Profound understanding of the HTTP protocol;
- Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or other);
- Knowledge of SOLID principles;
- Knowledge of Design Patterns;
- Experience with Git.
Not required, but a plus:
- Experience with PHPUnit;
- Experience with PHP template engines (e.g. Twig, Smarty, Blade);
- Experience with job/message queues (e.g. gearman, rabbitMQ);
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. JQuery, Angular, React, Backbone);
- Experience with Websockets;
- Experience in Linux-based OS;
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3;
- Good command of English;
- Professional certification;
- Obtained or pursuing a university degree in the IT sector.
