WHY WE NEED YOU

As Business Analyst you will sit within our Operations Automation function at FXCM, playing a significant part in our innovative approach to improving customer & employee experiences, something we are very proud of. This role will assist in driving the program through a combination of redesign and building of new processes using our chosen automation tools and technologies. We do this with an emphasis on sound analysis, thorough design and testing, excellent communication, and robust documentation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will collaborate with business subject matter experts to assess business processes and identify opportunities for automation or optimization to increase efficiencies and reduce operational risk

• Work with internal SMEs/Managers/Developers on developing new and improving existing workflows and functionalities
• Master customization and automation functions to enable FXCM to provide outstanding client service
• Manage relationships across multiple teams to ensure effective delivery of the portfolio, and realisation of the benefits.
• Develop requirement specifications and user acceptance testing strategies for automated process solutions
• Design, build, test, and deploy enhancements using industry best practices
• Closely work with developers along with business to ensure technical compatibility and end user satisfaction
• Prepare and maintain of documentation on process flows and projects
• Peer-to-peer best practice sharing

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• 1+ years of experience as a software business analyst or similar relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Experience working in a dynamic Agile project delivery environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, determine priorities, and follow up in a timely fashion
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

NOT A MUST HAVE BUT PREFFERED

• Business Process Optimization/Management experience
• Prior experience in financial services industry
• Engineering or programming background

Hours: 40 hours/week – Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
