Senior Data Warehouse SQL Developer
In order to truly grow and be competitive in the fast-paced digital market we need to make sense of the enormous amounts of data passing through our network. And with your individual problem-solving abilities you can help us to create a new information-based A1.
Your daily routine would include:
- Design and develop enterprise and departmental business intelligence and data warehousing solutions;
- Design and implement ETL processes;
- Developing ad-hoc report queries;
- Following the standard development process in the company;
- Database development – relational or dimensional data models.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- 4+ years of experience with data warehousing and/or large and complex database management systems;
- Strong relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skills;
- Experience with ANSI SQL programming, preferably T-SQL;
- Analytical skills and ability to translate user requirements into models and processes;
- Communicative, responsible personality, willing to study and advance in new technologies;
- Fluently in both spoken and written English.
The following skills will be considered an advantage:
- Knowledge of ETL tools e.g. IBM DataStage, Microsoft SSIS, SAP Data Services;
- Knowledge and/or experience with Ab Initio and/or Teradata SLJM is a strong benefit;
- Knowledge of Reporting and Analysis Tools e.g. MS SSRS, SAP BO, Power BI, Qlickview;
- Knowledge of Teradata and/or MS Azure;
- Experience in generic software development;
- Good command in both spoken and written German.
