Operational Support Engineer
We need your talent and expertise to join our team of experts who excel at delivering high-quality services to our internal and external clients and developing cutting-edge IT solutions.
Your daily routine would include:
- Working with internal customers to identify and define requirements for new solutions;
- Developing automation tools and scripts, while improving and configuring the application functionality to meet business needs Installing and upgrading system’s software/applications in order to maintain CI tools and ensure production deployment;
- Being responsible for the configuration and administration of OSS platforms and monitoring tools;
- Supporting OSS production systems and platforms;
- Troubleshooting issues correlated with Network Management Systems;
- Troubleshooting and coordination with 3rd level tech support of vendors;
- Applications monitoring in tools like Nagios or Grafana.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- Previous experience in application support and development;
- Telecommunications background or knowledge in transport, radio, core networks;
- Understanding of computer networking systems and technologies;
- Professional experience in Linux OS;
- Experience in REST API, SOAP;
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools,testing and production deployment;
- Knowledge of programming language – Java or Python;
- A passion for automation with Bash/Shell/Powershell or Python;
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools;
- Ability to write SQL queries, procedures and functions;
- Working experience with containers – Docker/Podman and Kubernetes/OpenShift;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, German language is a plus.
