About The Position

Tarya is a leading provider in the new emerging Fintech world. Responsibilities

  • Team player, who will work in closer relationship with colleagues from next departments, but not limited to Development, Project Management, Product Management, Presales and Sales, etc.
  • Supports newcomers, by providing orientation and introducing them to the company and the project/ initiative.
  • Proactive in issue and risk escalation, through effective collaboration and influence.
  • Communicate the testing status.
  • Provides test estimates and schedules (including team needs), proactively discussing and agreeing those matters with team and stakeholders.
  • Proactively contributes retrospectives and defect escape analysis.
  • Participate in planning sessions.
  • Identifies the training requirements.
  • Communicate with the client or on-site/ offshore team members, as required.
  • Gathers the decided test metrics.
  • Escalates and obtain a resolution of the issues related to the test environment, the team, the processes, etc.
  • Plans, organizes and leads team meetings and ensures action is taken based on the team discussions.
  • Reviews the status reports of the QA/ Testers.
  • Keeps the QA/ Testers motivated.

Requirements

  • 7 + years’ experience in the field of quality assurance and testing of software products.
  • 4+ years’ experience as a team manager.
  • Excellent knowledge to contemporary technologies in the quality assurance and testing field
  • The person holding the current position is expected to have minimal need for supervision. He/she should use the experience and knowledge to achieve the best possible quality of the software products of the company.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn fast and well to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Highly enthusiastic with great work ethics.
  • Either bachelor and /or master’s degree or equivalent experience is needed. 
  • Proven excellent written and spoken English.
