We are looking for the right person for the following position: Technical Product Owner
Position’s highlights:
- Designing an entire recurring product (like recurly and stripe) for an enterprise customer to be used worldwide
- Designing a complex payment orchestration platform to be used by large enterprises
- Research and implement new technologies such as GRPC and GraphQL
- Product design is an iterative process in which you will take the lead. Convince stakeholders that your idea is great and watch your product grow and develop.
- As a product owner, your actions are result oriented, not time gated.
This is what you will be dealing with, if you join us:
- Research new trends and tendencies
- Design a market competitive products
- Incorporate the iterative product design process into a roadmap
- Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap
- Groom and prioritize backlog
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Set sprint goals
- Analyze preferences and requests of end users
- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
- Be in constant cooperation with project sponsors (stakeholders like project lead, lead architect etc. on client side)
Required Qualifications:
- The agile methodology for software development is widely used and we expect each candidate to be familiar with it (SCRUM, SAFE, Kanban).
- You need to know what a REST API is. If you know what the difference between coarse-grained and fine-grained API is – awesome.
- We all want to work with people who understand the communication channels between systems (such as APIs, message queues and file transfers).
- When designing a product, it is important to take input from all stakeholders involved. Therefore, an understanding in project management is a plus – such as stakeholder management, scope management.
- When we write epics, we want to visualize as many processes as possible. We expect the same from you – an understanding of UML (sequence diagram, activity diagram, deployment diagram).
- New technologies pop-up pretty often, so we welcome people with a desire to learn and adapt.
- In our company, we like new product ideas and we like challenging them as well. Therefore, you need to know what market analysis, competitive analysis, and SWOT analysis are.
