The Role
At EDITED, you’ll be part of the Back End team working on our Enterprise Intelligence product. You’ll work closely with our API and UI team to create data-driven solutions to our customers’ problems. We’ve got huge scope to innovate and we always welcome fresh perspectives. You’ll be able to make a big impact, and learn a huge amount during your time at EDITED.
Requirements
You have:
- 5+ years of engineering experience (ideally back-end specific)
- 3+ years building Big-Data, database oriented applications
- 2+ years working with cloud-based data technologies (AWS preferred: RDS, Redshift, Athena, Aurora)
- Strong experience with Java
- Strong SQL expertise
Bonus points:
- Experience with JavaScript
- Data modelling and database design experience
- Database performance tuning experience
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
- Experience using Presto / Trino
- Experience with Node.js
- Redis experience
- ETL experience (particularly Talend)
- Maven experience
