We are looking to add to our team a result-oriented, energetic, and motivated Junior Magento Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career, surrounded by a supportive team who will assist you in your personal development. This position is for our office in Sofia (Bulgaria).
What will your workday look like?
• Your first day and even a month will be dedicated to onboarding, learning the tools we use and processes we follow
• Once that is done, you will have your educational tasks, where you start to use learned tools. Usually, they are a small part of a real project that you will perform under the guidance and supervision of a mentor
• Afterward, with the accumulation of experience and knowledge, you will contribute to new and ongoing projects – you will participate in teams on joint projects to build online stores and develop new functionalities in existing stores
• You will contribute to all stages of the development cycle, including evaluation, conceptual and technical planning, implementation, deployment, support and maintenance
• You will extend Magento core functionalities by custom module development and customization of Magento 2 store themes according to Magento coding standards
• You will develop and integrate business solutions including e-commerce and third party integrations
What do we expect?
• Eager to absorb information and advice from mentors, until you build a stable framework of knowledge around the things you are doing
• Degree or studying for a degree in a related subject, but if not – and you can show examples of relevant web dev work, then we encourage you to apply
• Basic knowledge and skill of Magento, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and jQuery
• Good understanding of OOPS concepts
• Knowledge of WordPress
• Precise attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills
• Able to work in a team with a positive “can-do“ attitude
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Very good command of English (spoken and written)
