WHAT your essential role in the team will be:

  • Coach and Support line managers to enable them to perform their roles more effectively.
  • Contribute HR expertise to business meetings with managers and prepare formal proposals for initiatives as required that support the people agenda to deliver the business objectives.
  • Partner closely with management in the effective use of performance tools and processes, ensuring that the principles are applied consistently and fairly to deliver outcomes that drive performance and deliver business objectives.
  • Proactively work with managers to ensure the Talent and Succession Planning processes are fully embedded within their business areas.
  • Advise management on key organizational structure and role issues to ensure that the optimum structure for the business is embedded.
  • Work proactively with Management Team to manage key HR /employees’ risks in the business and taking positive steps to resolve these before they become problems for the business.
  • Collaborateе with Group HR and Brand functions on developing SmartIT Employer Brand
  • Deliver excellent customer service by building strong, effective, proactive working relationships with peers, colleagues and leadership.
  • Provide expert advice on a range of HR queries and opportunities arising from within the business, following organizational policy and legislative requirement.
  • Act as a Change Agent within to support the ongoing development of the organization.
  • Have a good understanding of statistics/trends/data.
  • Understand the specific reward & recognition needs for the business and work with the management team to implement business-focused and cost-effective reward solutions.
  • Organizing teambuilding events

Partnership with the Group HR team and process improvement

  • Draw on the expertise within the HR team where appropriate to ensure a comprehensive HR service to the business.
  • Continually critically evaluate HR policies, processes and systems in the respective area and develop proposals for improvements, and efficiencies.
  • Review processes and practices and suggest ways of improving the HR service and taking accountability for implementation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR practices. Ensure that any activity is in line with all other business/HR issues at all times.

Project work

  • Support the key organizational development and change projects.
  • Deliver a range of HR projects with an emphasis on Business Change and Organizational Culture related topics.

WHAT necessary requirements for the position are needed:

  • 5+ years of experience in the HR field.
  • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills – strong oral and written communication skills; clear and persuasive; listen to others and seek clarification; contribute and give input to discussion; confidence to have a strong point of view and express it even if it proves unpopular.
  • Customer Focus – respond promptly to business and stakeholder’s needs; maintain communication and manage expectations; seek feedback to improve service; meet commitments; initiative – proactive, self-starter; look for opportunities for improvements; suggest and develop innovative approaches and ideas.
  • Strategic thinking – understand business goals and objectives and seek to develop initiatives to support these; identify threats and opportunities; understand business implications of decisions.
  • Commercial understanding – understand internal clients’ business needs, suggest people management initiatives in a cost-efficient manner that serve the client well, knowing current business challenges, core values and organizational culture that is on the focus.
