General duties:
- Have a leading software development role in one of the following technologies – Java, JavaScript, .NET Core, Mobile (iOS/Android)
- Take on the team lead role for key company projects
- Contribute to technical architecture definition and ensure the company architectural integrity is maintained
- Facilitate the professional growth of a small team of developers
- Team building and motivating/ Develops and maintains an effective and involved workforce through performance leadership and employee involvement
- Code Activity Metrics Monitoring and review/ Responsible for code review process in the team and quality of the produced code
- Legacy Refactoring/ minimizing technical debts/ Minimizing code-level technical debt and improving existing legacy code through continual refactoring
- Experience in an Agile environment highly regarded
Requirements:
- 7+ years of software development experience in the corresponding technology
- Experience in a Team Lead position and Mentoring role
- Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and ability to handle challenging situations
- Fluent English
The following would be considered an advantage:
- Experience in project management methodologies
- Experience with Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience with messages queues and buses – RabbitMQ, IBM Integration Bus, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, RH OpenShif
