Monitoring Platform Engineer (SCOM)
If you feel like the Master of the Monitoring systems and you are also skilled in working with Windows server and PowerShell scripting, then we would love to meet you and welcome you on board!
Your daily routine would include:
- Performing administrative tasks from the System Center Operation Manager (SCOM);
- Providing application and infrastructure support for the SCOM platform;
- Performing scripting, queries and performance tuning;
- Working with internal customers and peers to build advanced Visualizations/Dashboards;
- Integrating contextual data into actionable visualizations and develop indicators that identify anomalous activities;
- Monitoring for internal infrastructure and integrating alerts with ticketing systems to maintain minimal service outages;
- Troubleshooting and resolving reported problems.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- University degree in the field of IT/Telecommunication or any other relevant education;
- Understanding of regular expressions (Regex);
- Automation Experience;
- Experience in Windows Server Administration and MS Applications (e.g. Active Directory, Sharepoint, Exchange);
- Knowledge in the following areas is a plus: Perl and PowerShell scripting;
- Ability to isolate problems between hardware and software and provide information to appropriate team(s);
- Basic SQL Querying knowledge;
- Basic network and application architecture knowledge;
- Fluent English, German will be considered as an advantage.
