Your Role:

• Due to the rapid growth and expansion of company operations, currently we are looking for a System Test Engineer to join our DevOps team. The System Test Engineer will work on testing proprietary applications and APIs.

Your Responsibilities:

• Define and execute test cases against system software and APIs;
• Occasionally assist DevOps with unit-test automation;
• Create functional tests with unit framework;
• Automation of setup using Ansible; testing Ansible playbooks;
• Coordinate testing with your fellow DevOps Engineers and other members of the QA team;
• Writing declarative pipelines on Jenkins.

Our Expectations:

• Passionate about delivering high quality results, great attention to detail, strong analytical skills;
• Experience in writing functional tests, test cases and test plans;
• Good understanding of arrays and hash/dictionaries in programming languages;
• Experience in working with containers;
• Experience in working with KVM;
• Using standard Linux services, managing Linux users, doing server setup and networking;
• Experience in working with REST API/JSON;
• Excellent command of Perl, Bash, Go lang;
• Excellent command of Linux (CentOS/Fedora) and experience in working with Nginx, Apache, named;
• Good understanding of the RPM package manager, yum/dnf;
• Experience in working with Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager;
• Experience in working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis;
• Good understanding of Perl or other programming language;
• Fluency in English.
