We’re looking for a self-starting, creative, driven and results focused Creative Director, experienced in the mobile strategy genre to join our team in Sofia. You will have the opportunity to join an experienced, collaborative and fun mobile strategy game team.

Playwing is a mobile, PC, Console developer and publisher focused on high-quality games across genres, platforms, and target audiences. At Playwing, we strongly believe in putting the fun front and center, and polishing every aspect of the player experience. This is a unique opportunity to take part in an exciting adventure as we gear up for an existing 2022 and beyond. The company has operational offices in Bordeaux (France), Madrid (Spain), Bucharest (Romania), Sofia (Bulgaria), and Kharkov (Ukraine).

Responsibilities:

– Help fine-tune game balancing, pacing and feeling
– Imagine concepts of game systems & mechanics, to improve player engagement and retention.
– Study metrics and propose adjustments and new features based on them.
– Pitch and implement new game ideas and features to the stakeholders.
– Ability to deconstruct and analyze mobile game mechanics.
– Create new game ideas and draft them into actionable specs.
– Get involved in all aspects of game development: UI/UX, game design, logic, performance, etc.
– Benchmark the market to stay on top of new trends.
– Understand models and tools to analyze game play and user behaviour.

Qualification:

– Genuine interest and passion for games, especially mobile gaming.
– Avid gamer across multiple platforms /genres.
– Ability to read the market and to stay in touch with the competition’s key features.
– Empathy and desire to create original game designs to shape a product’s identity.
– Ability to conceptualize prototype, iterate and balance features.
– Game design and development experience in mobile games with Live ops
– Experience in Game Balancing.
– Excellent communication and problem – solving skills.
– Self-organized and self-motivate.
